It's a Microsoft Research project that attempts to simulate real-world painting, mixing and drying. Except that we heard the same stuff announced for Photoshop CS5 (may the tilt actually work, and may Adobe actually fix all bugs that pop out, rather than stabbing their customers in the back).

Apparently Corel Painter's fairly decent brush simulation isn't good enough. This version apparently does realistic twirls when you rotate the brush and such. Hmmm.
