I don't intend to change the look of the board, but there'll likely be an overhaul in functionality, including a karma to replace the props (it has pretty much the same functionality as the vB version, allowing you to add or remove karma from people, posts comments, and so on), and better gallery integration with the forum.
The downside to this is that if you've posted anything to the gallery, the links might break (as I'll be moving the images from the old gallery over to the new one), and you'll probably lose all of the props you've given or received, though I'll give you karma to make up for it.
That's the plan, anyway. Sometimes things don't go as smoothly as planned...
...but I'll do my best. 
edit: Thanks to SRC stuff, I'll be spending the weekend in Pretoria, which means I'll be without DSL. I'm aiming to have it done by Wednesday night so that it's still done on time.
edit: Okay, I've done most of the work. All that's left, as far as I know, is to move across the old images, and convert the old "props" into karma. I'll also be changing some of the icons to match Pixofile's theme.
edit: Please take a look at your karma settings, as well as the settings for your gallery. If you have images you'd like to upload, you can first create a personal album from there.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem as if I can create personal albums for you, so moving the old images across would be quite a mission. (The old images still exist, however, so they won't break any links you may have made to them.)The changes this time around were pretty extensive, and I ran into a bit of trouble updating the live board (even though my local mirror worked fine).
