Blender subdivide and set smooth?
Hi, I have been having trouble with blender. When I create an object such as a die which requires the subdivide tool as well as the set smooth tool it ends up having black dots or rectangles all over in the render window. Any idea how to fix this? If someone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Fuzzyspoon's the resident Blenderman. I'll take a look much later tonight when I get a chance if he hasn't posted by then.

Hey Gungan. I don't really know Blender, if it is in your viewport, maybe try changing your display mode to OpenGL or from OpenGL to Direct3d. If it is in the window when you hit the render button, you might try changing the renderer. As I said I dont really know Blender, Uberdiablo or Fuzzyspoon might be able to help you.

a) There isnt multiple renderer's, unless you installed one.
b) having black dots or rectangles all over in the render window
I think i need to see this, as there are many many possibility's. z fighting, flipped normals (try selecting the face and flipping the normals of that face). If you need any "press tab, select the face, etc"
