Here's some stuff I've been doing.

The first painting is crappy. It was a colour theory thing and we just had to paint a random object. My keys were in my pocket so I did that. Yeah, I only realised beadwork would be sucky AFTER starting.

The second painting project was a still life of fruit. Four segments, each segment using a different art movement. I have surrealism, impressionism, realism and expressionism.

Figure drawing he has been messing with us. The only stuff I can post are the five minute poses. Other than that, he's been making us draw with our left hands, switching us around and making us carry on on other people's drawings, randomly moving the model slightly, randomly putting objects in front of the model. etc. I get that he's trying to loosen everyone up... but sigh... I AM loose. :P

hmmm.. parently I forgot to take a photo of the third five minute sketches... doh!

and then we have observational drawing. The first image was just a random collection of stuff in the middle of the room so the lecturer could see our level of ability. The bug is from a series of loosening up exercises that included random things like drawing with someone elses hand and making a line to express anger and blah blah. The last page is a tonal values exercise. I'm still busy with the bench. It's due next week thur.

EDIT: Progress Update. Yes, I am aware that my photography skills suck.

Looks great. I like the chair in particular, and the perspective there. :)

Heh, she looks familiar; the skinny one of what seems to be Mediterranean descent.

Your left-hand/right-hand figure drawing came out way better than mine. And I had to cheat.

Yeah, you can see her bone structure really well. She was complaining that she really wants to put on more weight but it doesn't matter how much she eats, nothing works. lol. Her name is Sonea or something along those lines.

and left hand drawing sucks, keep getting this urge to just put the pencil in the right hand and friggen do it properly!

More goodies for the doodle bug!

A not so brilliant figure study, but a figure study non the less. I used pencils instead of the charcoal i normally gravitate toward. Apparently I need to learn better pencil control.

A completed acrylics landscape painting.

and a ballpoint pen wolf sketch. I love how the pen sketch looks (aside from the obvious flaws littered through this one) but damnnnnnn does it take forever. I need to do this again in pencil, ink and nib and ink and brush.
